Korean telematics services provider Mediawill Technology has announced they will team up with US car renter Dollar Thrifty to commercialize telematics service in Hawaii starting October 2005. Mediawill earlier demonstrated the service in September following a year of planning. The company plans to offer Dollar Thrifty 1,000 terminals developed in-house initially, with intentions to progressively expand the supply in the future.
